Flow Traders hosted its Special General Meeting on Thursday 14 September 2023, during which shareholders elected Mrs. Hermien Smeets-Flier as Executive Director of the Board and Chief Financial Officer with effect from 14 September 2023 until the 2027 AGM. Mrs. Smeets-Flier’s election was supported by a majority of 99.8% of the votes validly represented.
Rudolf Ferscha, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, stated: “On behalf of Flow Traders I would like to thank all shareholders who participated in today’s SGM and particularly all those who voted. We are extremely grateful for the overwhelming support from shareholders for Hermien‘s appointment as Executive Director of the Board where she will take up the role of Chief Financial Officer. Hermien has made an excellent start already since joining in July as Global Finance Director and everyone here at Flow Traders looks forward to working with her over the coming years.“
Hermien Smeets-Flier, Chief Financial Officer, added: “I feel honored and privileged for the opportunity to serve as Chief Financial Officer at Flow Traders.
