Flow Traders is looking for an HR Business Partner to join our growing team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will be involved in the day-to-day employee life cycle including but not limited to onboarding, performance management, benefits administration and talent development. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading proprietary trading firm, working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry.

In this position, you will play a key role in the design and execution of Flow Traders APAC people strategy and act as an enabler of success across the organization. You will work closely with managers and the Head of HR & Recruitment to uphold our company culture and cultivate a strong, symbiotic relationship between HR and the business.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with relevant departments to establish, implement and carry out policies and procedures in regards to onboarding and offboarding
  • Responsible for an accurate HR administration and documentation in regards to personnel records, benefits and HR procedures
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as; drawing up standard contracts, employment verifications and benefits administration
  • Build strong relationships, based in trust and credibility, across all levels of management
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the organization; flag people-related issues early and develop effective, long-term solutions
  • Drive informed decision making by using data to identify trends and measure success
  • Identify and handle employee relations issues swiftly and with sensitivity, exercising good judgment and discretion
  • Be a trusted resource for managers on all matters related to their people strategy; act as a sounding board for topics such as retention, succession planning, culture building, and skills development
  • Partner with colleagues in HR and Recruitment to support miscellaneous people-related business priorities

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR operations and business partnering experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication; excellent interpersonal skills for effective management across all layers of the organisation
  • Assertive, pragmatic, and a proactive can-do mindset
  • Possess a collaborative spirit that values input from others while also being able to assert one's own ideas confidently
  • Proven capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
