HR Business Partner

The role:

Building trusted partnerships with managers and their teams, you will provide proactive support and consultation to deliver people initiatives that drive business results.  In this capacity you will report to the HR Team Lead (Amsterdam) and will support a group of approx. 100 employees from different departments.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Hands-on day-to-day collaboration with managers and employees delivering a high level of value-added service
  • Coach and guide managers on all employee related topics such as: talent development, performance management practices and conversations, engagement and absence management, sick leave, HR data reporting, etc.
  • Handle all employee relations scenarios: independently completing the inquiries, coming up with options, counseling management and/or employees, and facilitating a timely resolutions
  • Drive successful execution of HR initiatives within established timelines, ensuring consistent application across the organization, and identifying areas of improvement
  • Analyze and interpret workforce metrics on a regular and ad hoc basis with a focus on continuous process improvement
  • Collaborate with your colleagues in the HR team and the Finance Department to assist with the processing of employee payroll


  • Bachelor degree
  • 6+ years work experience as Senior HRBP / HR Manager (ideally in an international environment)
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (business level of speaking and writing in both)
  • In-depth knowledge of, and experience with, Dutch labour law and legal requirements
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and solid working experience with HR systems; general aptitude to learn new systems
