To apply as a trader with Flow Traders, you’ll ideally meet the following profile:
- University degree, preferably in economics, econometrics, science, mathematics, or business
- Experience with Excel
- Demonstrable interest in financial markets
- Fluent in both Dutch and English

Your responsibilities will include:
- Pricing and trading of equity, bond, derivative and structured products
- Daily position management
- Helping create automated trading models and tools
- Developing new trading strategies and implementing new products
Description
After a two-month intensive in-house training program, you’ll be assigned to a small team with responsibility for covering certain products. You’ll keep a sharp eye on the progression of your trading strategies throughout the day and make adjustments as needed in split-second reactions to the market. You’ll be on the constant lookout for new products and new ways to trade them. You will be involved in the full cycle of research for new products and strategies, building prototypes, testing, implementing and monitoring strategies. You’ll work in a demanding environment with plenty of challenges and accompanying rewards.
General
Our terms of employment are like our culture: simple and straightforward - you’ll receive a good monthly salary, plus an annual performance-based bonus. We reserve 40% of our business results after costs for our bonus pool. The difference you make for Flow will be rewarded by a share in our profits.
